He murders his victims through suffocation by duct tape and this launches the detectives into investigating the killer’s modus operandi as they start to uncover a sinister connection with all of The Tape Man’s victims. As they continue to make discoveries, the two detectives will go down a path that will put them at odds not only with their killer but with their own Sergeant, who is pressured by the department’s lack of funding and his own personal connection with the Judge.
